Light changes a room more than furniture does.
Albéa was born from that conviction — and from a block of alabaster placed on a table one winter evening.
The origin
A stone you only truly see when it's lit.
Alabaster forms over thousands of years. Switched off, it's an opaque pebble. Switched on, it becomes translucent and draws on the walls a pattern that belongs to it alone.
We searched a long time for a workshop able to carve blocks thin enough to let light through without weakening the stone.
Our approach
No cable, no installation, no complicated settings.
We wanted an object you place and forget about. Built-in battery, USB-C charging, brightness adjusted with a simple touch on the stone.
