1. Seller
These terms and conditions of sale (“Terms”) are entered into between Albéa & Co, 11 rue Jules Massenet, 94120 Fontenay-sous-Bois, France, email contact@albeaco.com (the “Seller”), and any consumer placing an order on the website (the “Customer”). The full legal notice is available on this page.
2. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern the sale of the products offered on the website. Any order implies full acceptance of the Terms in force on the day of the order. The Customer declares that they have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
3. Products
Albéa lamps are carved from natural alabaster. As stone is a living material, veins, shades and translucency vary from one piece to another: the photographs on the website are representative, but the piece delivered will have its own pattern. These variations do not constitute a lack of conformity.
4. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes, excluding any shipping costs shown before the order is confirmed. The Seller may change its prices at any time; products are invoiced at the price in force when the order is placed.
5. Orders
The Customer selects the products, checks the order details, corrects any errors, then confirms the order and pays. Confirmation constitutes an electronic signature and acceptance of the Terms. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the Customer.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order that appears abnormal or fraudulent, or in the event of a previous payment dispute.
6. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering, using the methods offered at checkout. Transactions are secure and encrypted; the Seller never has access to the Customer's full card details and does not store them.
7. Delivery
Orders are shipped within 1 to 2 business days, within mainland France, with a tracking number. Observed delivery time is 3 to 5 business days. In any event, delivery takes place no later than 30 days after the order.
In case of delay, the Customer may formally ask the Seller to deliver within a reasonable additional period; failing that, they may cancel the sale in writing and obtain a full refund within 14 days (articles L.216-2 and L.216-3 of the French Consumer Code). 8. Right of withdrawal
The Customer has a legal period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without giving any reason (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code). As a commercial gesture, Albéa & Co extends this period to 30 days.
To exercise this right, simply write to us at contact@albeaco.com with your order number. We send a prepaid return label: the return is at our expense. The product must be returned complete and in resaleable condition.
All sums paid are refunded no later than 14 days after we recover the product or receive proof of its dispatch, using the same payment method as the original order.

9. Legal warranties
All our products benefit, by law and at no extra cost, from:
- the legal warranty of conformity, for 2 years from delivery (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code); the Customer may request repair or replacement of the goods, then, under certain conditions, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract; they do not have to prove the lack of conformity during the 24 months following delivery;
- the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), for 2 years from discovery of the defect, allowing a refund or a price reduction.
To make a warranty claim, simply write to us with your order number and a photo of the defect. The battery, LED and electronics are covered. Normal wear of the stone and damage resulting from impact, immersion or improper use are not.
10. Care and safety
The lamp is not waterproof: keep it somewhere dry. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth, without household products. Charge only with a compliant USB-C cable and adapter.
11. Personal data
The data collected is necessary to process the order. How it is processed, how long it is kept and the Customer's rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability) are detailed in our privacy policy.
12. Intellectual property
All elements of the website remain the exclusive property of Albéa & Co. No reproduction is permitted without prior written consent.
13. Force majeure
The Seller cannot be held liable for any failure to perform due to force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
14. Disputes, mediation and governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a complaint, the Customer should first contact our customer service. If no solution is found, they may use the consumer mediator indicated in our legal notice free of charge, in accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code. Failing agreement, the competent French courts may be seized.
