1. Seller identification
These terms of service ("Terms") are entered into between Albéa & Co, 11 rue Jules Massenet, 94120 Fontenay-sous-Bois, France, email contact@albeaco.com (the "Seller"), and any non-trading individual placing an order on the site (the "Customer"). Full legal information is available on this page.
2. Purpose and acceptance
These Terms govern the sale of products offered on the site. Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of the Terms in force on the day of the order. The Customer declares having the legal capacity to enter into this contract.
3. Products
Albéa lamps are carved from natural alabaster. As the stone is a living material, veining, shading and translucency vary from one piece to another: the photographs on the site are representative, but the delivered piece will show its own pattern. These variations do not constitute a lack of conformity.
4. Price
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, excluding any shipping costs indicated before order confirmation. The Seller may change prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rate in effect when the order is recorded.
5. Order
The Customer selects products, reviews the order details, corrects any errors, then confirms the order and makes payment. Confirmation constitutes an electronic signature and acceptance of the Terms. A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent to the Customer.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order that appears abnormal or fraudulent, or in the event of a prior payment dispute.
6. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering, through the means offered at checkout. Transactions are secured and encrypted; the Seller never has access to the Customer's full banking details and retains none.
7. Shipping
Orders are shipped within 24 to 48 business hours, within mainland France, with a tracking number. Observed transit time is 3 to 5 business days. In any case, delivery occurs no later than 30 days after the order.
In the event of delay, the Customer may give the Seller formal notice to deliver within a reasonable additional period; failing that, the Customer may cancel the sale in writing and obtain a full refund within 14 days (articles L.216-2 and L.216-3 of the French Consumer Code). 8. Right of withdrawal
The Customer has a legal period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise the right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason (article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code). As a commercial gesture, Albéa & Co extends this period to 30 days.
To exercise this right, simply write to us at contact@albeaco.com with your order number. We send a prepaid return label: the return is at our expense. The product must be returned complete and in a resalable condition.
A refund of the full amount paid is made no later than 14 days after we receive the product or proof of its shipment, using the same payment method used for the order.

9. Statutory warranties
All our products automatically benefit, at no extra cost, from:
- the statutory conformity warranty, for 2 years from delivery (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code); the Customer may request repair or replacement of the item, then, under certain conditions, a price reduction or cancellation of the contract; the Customer is exempt from proving the lack of conformity for 24 months from delivery;
- the warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), for 2 years from discovery of the defect, allowing for a refund or price reduction.
To make a warranty claim, simply write to us with your order number and a photo of the defect. The battery, LED and electronics are covered. Normal wear of the stone and damage resulting from impact, immersion or improper use are not covered.
10. Care and safety
The lamp is not waterproof: keep it in a dry place. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth, without household products. Recharge only with a compliant USB-C cable and adapter.
11. Personal data
The data collected is necessary to process the order. Its processing, retention period, and the Customer's rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability) are detailed in our privacy policy.
12. Intellectual property
All elements of the site remain the exclusive property of Albéa & Co. No reproduction is permitted without prior written consent.
13. Force majeure
The Seller's liability cannot be engaged in the event of non-performance due to force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the French Civil Code.
14. Disputes, mediation and applicable law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a complaint, the Customer should first contact our customer service. Failing resolution, the Customer may freely use the consumer mediator named in our legal notice, in accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code. Failing agreement, the matter may be brought before the competent French courts.
